Bowl festival cancelled
Unfortunately our bid for funding The Bowl 2008 has been unsuccessful and we have had to take the decision to cancel.
Surveys during the festival have shown that there is a huge demand from the local community for free festivals, like The Bowl, in Crystal Palace Park. The Bowl is the only large scale music event of its kind in Bromley.
We hope the festival will go ahead in 2009.
The festival traditionally includes the best of South London featuring market stalls, DJ’s, percussionists, drummers, bands, caterers, walk about entertainers, a bar and a huge free kid’s area. 14 musical performers take part, as do local groups and traders.
The event usually attracts an estimated 6,000 visitors, and entry is free.
